Well, thanks to Pete and courtesy of encore-eux.com
, I can now share Valérie Arboireau's Bisoux d'Amour
) with you!
Now here's a book I'm interested in finding: Les Seins: encyclopédie historique et bizarre. It's a comprehensive study of the fascination of breasts from all perspectives:
"Les seins ont inspiré d’innombrables chef-d’œuvres de la littérature, de la poésie et de la peinture. Publicité, bande dessinée, cinéma, se les sont à leur tour approprié et les utilisent à outrance."
("Breasts have inspired innumerable works of literature, poetry and art. Advertising, comics and cinema have each used them extensively.")
Well I haven't written in a while, but yesterday I bought a copy of Créamania
magazine, and in it is an interesting article about the artist Valérie Arboireau, who has painted a giant picture of breasts, using lipstick kisses in 25 different shades of lipstick. Her creation represents the unique bond between a breastfeeding mother and her child. Unfortunately I have been unable to find any information about Valérie or her artwork on the web, nor have I access to a scanner. If anyone can help, please e-mail me.
