While all some women may want is big breasts, the last thing most women want is to be fat. And when one start busting out of the "normal" bras (usually a C, maybe a D), the feeling isn't too much different from realizing that the biggest size pants in banana republic are too small. Either way, it adds up to the same fear: "you're fucked because you're a freak, and you're too damn big and indelicate to be stylish, so now you're going to have to wear special ugly clothes that scream to the whole world 'look at me, i'm too damn big and indelicate for pretty things'." Granted, the world can't generally see your underthings, but that's not the point. That's why we need sites like this one, and companies that make pretty bras in bigger sizes. To convince girls who still have that mindset that there isn't a "cutoff point" after which you have to be frumpy. |
